Cycle tread design may not transfer well to automobile tires though. Cycles need 'tread' on the sidewalls (for leaning into turns). Cars not as much (hopefully). :-) I've had Dunlop which gave great traction but wore rapidly due to soft rubber. Lately I'm using Kelly (which I think are made by Dunlop?) but there are only six tire manufacturers in the world last time I checked and the rest is just smoke-n-mirrors.
