I would say a career in sales.  Probably an outside sales rep for a
manufacturers agent. Usually a good paying position, but that depends a
great deal on the vendor lines and the territory assigned.  A good sales
person can do quite well, even with a tough territory.  What sort of
background or interest does your friend have?
