I've been thinking about it and I still have no overwhelming problems with
the act. "Patriot Acting Out The phony case against an antiterror
law:"

Oddly enough (or not) if a Dem had unethically accessed a Rep directory and
found this kind of crap...
"...the memo contents, which demonstrate the influence of liberal
interest groups in choosing which nominees Democratic senators would
filibuster. Other revelations from the memos include Democrats' race-based
characterization of Estrada as "especially dangerous, because . . . he
is Latino," which they feared would make him difficult to block from a
later promotion to the Supreme Court."
...there'd be a big to-do with news anchors everywhere staring out of the
TV with sad eyes, downturned lips and quavering voices decrying that
content and those nasty racist Republicans with nary a mention of the
unethical file access (except perhaps to blame the Reps for making it
possible by hiring an incompetent IT guy).
While I don't support the means of the access, if same does anything to
help curtail their racism in the future, it'll have been worth it for a few
staff to lose their jobs for the access. But what it'll do is have all
"strategic" planning done orally only (and only after sweeping
Martha's Vineyard for bugs) * Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45)SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
