(cont,d..)
In Roswell, for a confrence, C. Bertram Schultz, a vertebrate
paleontologist, drives north from Roswell on Highway 285. To the west
he sees a number of guards along the highway. Not interested in
anything out that way, he does not stop so is not bothered by the
guards. ( Randle & Schmitt, 1994, p.162)

Roswell Base calls Glenn Dennis again. He asks about what various
chemicals would do to blood and tissue. He also wants to know the
proceedures for preparing a body that has lain out in the elemants.
Dennis suspects a fatal crash involving a VIP.
A bit later, Dennis receives a call from downtown Roswell, about an
injured airman. Ballard Funeral Home also operates an ambulance
service. Dennis drives the airman back to base, & is waved through the
gate. Stopping at the rear of the hospital, he sees three ambulances
parked at the emergency entrance. In the rear of one of these, he sees
strange debris and small, canoelike devices of some sort.

The bodies arrive at base and are taken to the hospital for
examination. Dr. Jesse Johnson pronounces them dead. Two doctors not
assigned to the base but who arrived on another special flight, begin a
preliminary autopsy. (Ibid, p.162)
