Hi Carolyn,
I think I might be able to help you, but we need to do a couple of
things here...  First, can you explain what you did in a bit more
detail?  For example, when you say you went into the "configuration
system", did you do this in Windows, or did you run a program called
QCONFIG from the DOS command line?  Did you use your mouse to make these
changes?  Do you remember what items you changed while you were in the
program?
Hopefully with a bit more information, I can help you to narrow down the
problem a bit.
