Let me ask you. The gentleman just stated that as a NREMT, he can go
into a scene, and if there are just basic EMT's there, he can "Assume
Command".
Now, say we have a couple of EMT's out on Medic 31, and they are providing
care at a accident. Someone from Arizona pulls up, and decides to
"take control of the scene".
How long do you figure it will take, if he persists, till he is escorted
away from the scene? How long, if he still persists, till arrest?
Unless Nastyville has changed drastically, I figure, about a minute
for the first, and another for the second..........
Is the FD going to be on the new PD radio system?
