CA>>> it's really frustrating since I have changed nothing.
CA>>> Obviously the ISP is 'tinkering' with their end. I wish

CA>>> ALONE!

ml>> having worked with a few ISPs and seen this type of thing

 CA> I'm not having _that_ problem. I connect a proper speeds I

then they may be having problems connecting to their radius authentication
server... i've seen some very wierd setups and all it takes is for one
thing to get out of whack...

ml>> back to the "modem cards"... most of them out there are
ml>> rockwell based... some are better than others... some code
ml>> versions are better than others... my USR Courier

CA> I don't have the USR BBS number but they were sold to 3COM,
CA> you might want to try a search on '3COM'?

3COM let them go back on their own... they are USR once again >

http://www.usr.com

CA> This is all I could find that might be of interest to you?

yes and no... doesn't do me any good to try to test over the current
internet link as it is only connecting at 28k8 or so and not climbing
higher like can be done... my telco has fubar'd my lines... i'm positive of
it... i just have to get on their arses about it and get them to do
something about it...
