I've come across a Dell desktop that does not seem to support SVGA anymore. The highes rez is 640x480 VGA. The pc has an Acer LCD screen connected to it. The OS is XP. Would the setting to recover the SVGA in the bios? This pc is at a remote site where internet access is not an option. An Acer FTP site lists the following: 04/19/2007 12:00AM 12,341 AL1916Wc_Vista_XP_Driver.zip 04/19/2007 12:00AM 667,910 AL1916Wp_Vista_XP_Driver.zip 04/19/2007 12:00AM 58,911 AL1916Wx_Vista_XP_Driver.zip The monitor that I need to support is "AL1916W". What do the "c" "p" and "x" represent? I looked inside each file but there is no documentation. ...AA --- Thunderbird 2.0.0.24 (Windows/20100228)* Origin: Fidonet Via Newsreader - http://www.easternstar.info (1:123/789.0) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 550 620 848 953 @PATH: 123/789 500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
