Well, the next shoe has fallen. The defenders of El Presidente are now
crying foul because Starr is investigating one of the White House
"compadres" of El Presidente for leaking information to the press.
They're now saying this person, whose name I can't for the life of me
remember, was merely excercising his, get this, First Ammendment rights.
Let me get this right. The White House complains that there are too many
leaks to the press and blames Starr's office for the leaks. So much so that
David Kendall files papers in court demanding some sort of resolution.
Starr responds by saying it's not HIS office. Articles appear in the media
that the White House, and El Presidente in particular, are the only ones
who benefit from the leaks.
Starr investigates and 'lo and behold! It's an aide to El Presidente who
now faces the Grand Jury.
If memory serves me right, Kendall, the "Ragin' Cajun" and others were
demanding Starr's head on a platter since they accused him of the leaks.
Now that it appears, preliminarily at least, that the leaks did in fact
come from the White House (why else would Starr be having the aide hauled
before the Grand Jury?) the HYPOCRITES are invoking the First Ammendment, a
right I guess Mr. Starr and company don't enjoy.
Puh - leeze! I'm getting ill about all this hypocritical nonsense.
And apparently, El Presidente has private investigators snooping into
Starr and his staff's private lives and backgrounds.
Yep. This has become as bad as any other bannana republic in this
hemisphere.
It's getting so deep that even my hip waders can't handle the excrement
that's eminating from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
