One definite celebration will be at The Cavern on Friday 6th July.
It looks to feature a "John" from one tribute band and a
"Paul" from
another. But, more interestingly, the original Quarrymen are also
appearing.. I mean, The Quarrymen at The Cavern - how could I not go? So I
am!
As I mentioned before I've seen The Quarrymen once before and I have now
uploaded a quick record of that weekend. You'll find it at
http://www.old-git.co.uk/beatles
Unfortunately I only had a 2Mp camera in those days so even at best the pics
are only 1600x1200. Hopefully I'll get some better pics in July with my
lovely new 10Mp dSLR.
Is it July yet???
