subject: 2 routers, 2 subnets, 1 DSL

I want to setup an isolated 2nd LAN (separate subnet) to support a
router/AP that would be used to provide hotspot access for the public, but
I want that subnet to be totally isolated from my private LAN. I will
outline my approach and would appreciate any comments if this would work or
not.

My current connection setup is:

DSL-modem (192.168.1.1) --> Router-1 (192.168.2.1), a BELKIN.

Router-1 feeds a local printer and one pc. From one of its LAN ports I
have a Switch that provides more ports that feed a few more PCs, all on
192.168.2.x.

For the hotspot configuration:

I would be using a Linksys WRT54G with DD-WRT: Router-2. The hotspot LAN
needs to be subnet 192.168.10.x.

Therefore, I configure Router-2 with IP address 192.168.10.1. I use the WAN
port of Router-2 and connect it to any free port of Router-1. I configure
Router-2 with WAN IP 192.168.1.3 (the same WAN IP that Router-1 uses). I
leave DHCP enabled.

I move all 192.168.2.x devices to the Switch which hangs off Router-1.

Does this sound like it would work and keep 192.168.2.x and 192.168.10.x
LAN isolated from each other?
