Actually, it's either ... which is no help to the confusion factor.  If, in
VB6, I use the auto complete feature, Printer.FontName and
Printer.Font.Name both show and apparently do the same thing

Thanks ... that helps a lot.  ((I do much better understanding examples
than MS's text explanations.))

I see that, it's just that I'd rather not have to re-invent the wheel if I
can find ways around it.  I'll go 'play' with this for a while and see if I
can make sense out of it.  'preciate your patience //al
