Huummmmm? When I think of all the mutations out there I realize that there is
a LOT of line/inbreeding going on for it is hard to get mutations without
breeding back into the same family that the mutated gene came from.
Let's put it this way. I can only operate my own breeding program, and it has
never called for line breeding or inbreeding. I have looked long and hard to
get pairs that were unrelated so the I would have a decent gene pool within
my
own breding program.
So, I can only say that I do not consider inbreeding/line breeding...even
when
I had cockatiels and lovebirds.
