subject: [OS2HW] Lexmark 4039 laser-strange power-on

I have 2 of these units...for years now.

One of them, when powering on with the switch, it does not start immediately.

If I leave the PO switch *ON* for 20 seconds or so, ...BINGO...the printer
starts up and runs perfect.

Well, my IBM CE days tell me this PO switch is quite binary, ON or OFF.

Before I start tearing the covers off to get at the switch itself (understand this is
not easy), maybe someone here has experienced this problem and why there would
be such a delay.

This is not just OS/2 hardware, but hey, thought I'd give this group a try.

...Thanks....Gerry
