CM> I want to recommend to you-all the 1997 book, "The Cat Who Cried For
CM> Help; Attitudes, Emotions, and the Psychology of
RS> Cats" by Dr. Nicholas
CM> Dodman.
CM> In this book, the doctor talks about useing

RS>
RS> Isn't he the guy who advocates giving prozac to pets?
RS> I saw a guy saying that on one of these news shows.
Dr. Dodman may indeed be the man that you've seen.
I think he gives good reasons for medicating cats in the many case studies
that he presents in his book. Oftentimes, the cats seem to benefit greatly.
He also has a lot of neat ideas on using "behavior modification" to train a
cat to get along better with another cat or a new home, etc.
