Hi I have see such situations and while sometimes I did have such a cable lying around I have also made one by stealing a connector off an old AT case such as the Keylock or Speaker connectors both of which are often 4 conductor. In any case all of them use grounds on the middle 2 and rt and lft at the extremes. 3 Wire jobs just eliminate the somewhat redundant extra ground. In a pinch you can even use raw connectors with no housing since the mobo and CD connectors are usually a surround preventing shorts. Jimmy > > I have gigabyte motherboards.
