1. I have now switched feeds for almost all my stuff to Ted.

2. I have checked all the echos you are connected to here, and they are all
available from Ted, except for the ones that are local to here, ie LOCUSER,
LOCSYSOP, FOURTH_REICH, RED_OCTOBER. You thus may want to consider
reducing your phone bill by collecting all of them from your normal feed,
and just pick the others up once/week.

Unless you have plans on setting up a mini-backbone ourselves? E.g. you
don't need to worry about collecting 1100 echos from me, I've got the
capacity. You hook into them, and I'll connect straight to Ted. What I
would like to see is the ability for people to both get the normal echos
from us, plus the ability to set up small echos that interest only 1 or 2
people (ref "The Young Ones") and have them transported via the
"backbone" without having to directly call each other. Frankly,
it's no skin off my nose to set up a couple of hundred small echos like
that.

What are your plans for your system, anyway? Mine is to process lots of
genuine mail using Tobruk. BFN. Paul.
