subject: Graphics problem

  TO: jerry.stern@genie.com
And to those on the FIDO WPERFECT echo.
A problem maybe you or someone can help me with.
Often when I try to bring in a graphic I get the error
message "Invalid drive/path specified", then a box
stating "Found xyz.WPG--Not a graphic". Both of these
statements are untrue - if I try again, I may get the
image. When I try to make a page of the graphics with
Graphcat, if I get too many of these, Graphcat quits.
I don't blame it! I end up making several attempts,
getting the errors on different images, then cut and
paste all the good ones together. This is ridiculous!
I've been putting up with it - it's only once a
month when the Disk of the Month arrives that I have
the problem. But now I have a color printer (HP
DeskJet 682C) and I'd like to re-catalog the DOMs back
to August 1992 in color. I'm completely frustrated.
     This isn't Graphcat's fault - I have trouble just
LOOKing at some of the graphics. Copying them from
floppy to HD didn't help (I really didn't expect it to,
but it was worth a try!) Any suggestions, anyone?
          Thanks,
