TS> I didn't get around to mulching my tomatoes. Would you say that

Some years just seem to be bad for tomatoes, usually the weather
although sometimes it can be diseases or even insects. Mulch
helps with several things. It helps keep the soil moisture from
fluctuating too much, that helps prevent blossom end rot. It also
helps keep the soil temperature from getting too hot, which is
really needed here in Florida where I live. I can't remember
where you live. I've noticed that years that I get lazy and skip
the mulch my garden doesn't do near as well as when I do mulch.
I'm saying that and haven't gotten around to mulching my tomatoes
that I put in last month!!! opps! I weeded the other day and
was gonna put the mulch down and then didn't get to it....maybe
this weekend!
