Have Zoltrix crystal chip 4232 isa sound card that will not play audio
from cdrom.   Tried several cdroms including new all set to slave on
secondary channel.   Software cd's function.

Tested analog audio cable for continuity, was fine.  Replaced audio cable
with another from a tested system.  Used both types of analog cable for
either connector on sound card.

Cd player in both Warp 3 and  4 indicate songs are playing.   All
sounds/music on hard drive works excellent with sound card, only cdrom does
not.  Is it possible the sound card will function but connection to cdrom
is dead?  Win95 cd player also indicates song playing but no audio.

Have I missed something or can sound card only function local bus and not
analog to cdrom?
