Hi, thanks for the note.i have 1 daughter and we do alot like you do. We
mainly go at her pace. At this time we are using a variety of diffrent
things. We muse the computer and have alot of learning games and we have an
interactive encyclopedia program. We also go on alot of field trips. She
wants to become a veterinarian so we do alot of animal related things. She
loves Science and Math and Literature. She is at a high school level in those
and above average in everything else. Homeschooling gives her alot of time to
do the things she's interested in. She collects rocks and anything that has
to deal with animals. Her favorite thing is when we take our animals to the
vet. They are really great and they let Erika help examine the pets and she
gets to ask alot of questions. They already told her that when she becomes 16
she can go work for them and that's what she's working toward. Even though
she's only 11, she already seems to know what she wants to do. When the dogs
need medicine or anything, she wants to always do it herself(i naturally
supervise)we have two rottweilers and breed them, too. we also have a cat who
loves to do everything the dogs do, and they like to do everything that erika
does. Have you ever seen dogs jump on a trampoline? my dogs do! Arizona gives
the homeschoolers here alot of support and they also give us alot of freedom
to teach what we want. nice talking with you. Write again soon if you get a
chance..
