The problem is that after sending a file, it truncates it to zero-length,
so that it doesn't get reused, and cause a clash your end.  My archiver
sees that there is a zero-length file there, and skips it, knowing it needs
to create a new one.  No-one was deleting the old zero-length files.  BFN.
