subject: [OS2HW] IDE&ScsiDrives.

Hi,

I have 2 ide, which are boot drive and work drive, and 1 scsi drive which
is much older running with scsi bios 2.20. Since the scsi was the last
installed, I would prefer it to be The Last disk number. The scsi is used
mostly for archives.

Why is it that some OS's and some utilities, name drives starting with
0,1,2 and some start as 1,2 &3. Is this to placate those who cannot
grasp 0 as a number?

Anyway, the scsi moves around sometimes it's the first drive and sometimes
it's the last drive.
How can I ensure that it is always the Last drive regardless of the OS or utility.

Any guidance appreciated.

KevinJ.
