And because of that strike shortened season, the Expos will probably move to
Virginia. Had they won the World Series that year, the fan support
would be higher instead of the 19000 average this year, the Expos` payroll
would also be greater instead of this year`s 18 million payroll
which makes it hard to compete with the multi million Braves and Marlins.
The Expos would have been able to sign their free agents like Moises Alou now
with the Marlins. The 1994 strike is the Expos downfall.
