I think you have a great idea about combining the roll call of state
affiliates with the tenBroek and White Cane pledges.  Yes, I think we
could get rid of some fluff.  I've already noted my view that resolutions
are given too little attention--or at least, it seemed that way at
conventions I attended.  Yes, it also seemed to me that we never gave Jim
Gashel's report the time it deserved, and the annual joke about it wasn't
funny.  As for the Monitor recipes, my wife and I are glad to have them,
though few of them will ever come to life in our kitchen.  Take care!
