RA> No, no, no, no. A B-210 is NOT a Chevrolet. That was an old Datsun
RA> moniker. -!-
There WAS a "210" (I never heard of the "B") from '53-57. They had the
150, the 210 & the Bel-air.
In '58 the 150 became the Del-ray, the 210 became the Biscayne, and the
Impala was introduced as a 2 door HT or conv. as a "top of the line"
car, basically a "dolled up & souped up" Bel-Air.
(There were also Del-rays in '54-55, I'm not sure about '56-57, they
appeared to be somewhere "between" the 210 and the Bel- air, I believe
during those years the Bel-air name was only used for 2-door HT's.{actually
as early as '51})
In '59 the Del-ray became the Biscayne, The Byscayne became the Bel-Air,
and the Bel-air became the Impala
In '57, the 150 is identifiable by the single piece of chrome from
behind the driver's door straight back.
The 210 had a chrome strip running from the headlight to tail, curving down
at the rear, the Bel-Air added the second piece forming the distinctive "fan
shaped" panel on the rear fender.
