Here's some new taglines that I've seen used for internet mail...

Pursuant to US Code, Title 47, Chapter 5, Subchapter II, Sec. 227,
this system levies archival / downloading fees for unsolicited email
messages. For a complete fee schedule, send an email to this address
with "FEE SCHEDULE" as the subject or the message.
Any inclusion of my user-id in any mailing list without my expressed
prior WRITTEN approval, to include the unauthorized reselling of this
user-id to mailing list vendors, will be met with an immediate
complaint to your internet provider.

unlawful to send any unsolicited advertisement to such equipment. By

punishable by action to recover actual monetary loss, or $500, whichever

I'm not sure how legally binding either of them in the US. (No legal
value in your country at all, I guess!) However, the second is more detailed
and makes sense ie. the part explaining how a computer w/ modem & printer is
a
fax machine. If anything, it may scare away some would-be human spammers.
