It would take a REAL sucker to buy that one.  It's fairly common knowledge 
that Leo would re-use the same prototype over and over and end up destroying 
it in the end.  It wasn't until the G&L days that prototypes weren't trashed. 
 I think there might be one prototype Broadcaster (three-on-a-side tuners) in 
existance... I know I've seen pictures of one, but rather than a prototype, 
it may have been one of a very limited early production run before the Bigsby 
headstock (bigger than a '70s Strat) was redesigned into the Fender 
dstock.
