Hi Steve
Sorry I can't reply inline but it's a real PITA with webmail and I've
other things to setup before I can go back to normal Pop client. Anyway in
no particular order. No absolutely my ISP is not disconnecting me. First
off I am pinging my internal router, this side of the cable modem, and the
other boxes off the router stay up continuously. Only OS/2 has lost
connect and now since pinging plus setting ainuptimer higher it's stayed up
about 20 hours continuously now. Here's a few lines from config.sys shwing
the AIN service

SET LANINSTEP=C:\CID\SERVER\ibmls
SET AINCODEPATH=D:\PSF2
SET AINWORKPATH=D:\PSF2\SYSTEM
SET AINLANGUAGE=ENU
SET AINUPTIMER=9
SET PSF2INST=D:\PSF2

Default install set it to "1".

OK then. I missed having sufficient time tonight for CSF but will
definitely give it a go tomorrow then since it appears it may take only a
tiny bit of setup. Geez sorry to hear about the lack of oldtime, courtesy
RSU service. Too bad since as far as I'm concerned IBM owes OS/2 users at
least enough to keep a few files posted current to OS/2's official demise.
Insult to injury as usual I guess.
Jimmy
