I believe what we are seeing here is a touch of paranoia along with a grossly exaggerated view of what could happen and its consequences. On the other hand, if the whole internet were to disappear tomorrow it would mean little to me. I would just go back to what I was doing long before the internet became part of my life. In effect, Geo needs it. He has built his life around it.
