There's not much more in your NYTimes version than there was in the Des
Moines Register on Friday, that is to say it's mostly paranoid ramblings of
a few protestors including the National Lawyers Guild who have been
paranoid about McCarthy since before there was a McCarthy to be paranoid
about and are solidly in the "President Gore" camp according to
their "mission" statement.

Time will tell more about what's going on, if anything, but I'm not about
to get all excited over this one-sided portrayal of parts of a story.
