Oh, I wasn't *really* trying to defend him on an individual basis, I think
it's surely a given that the liberals oppose almost all Bush nominees just
on general principle, and likely just throw darts for their target du jour


It's easy to target someone, anyone - hell, one could show a frame of Clint
Eastwood pointing his .44 Magnum and asking if the perp "feels
lucky" and caption it "Criminals run wild in the streets with
guns vote for gun control" while forgetting to mention that he's the
cop.
