SH> Transcript, please. RS> On the first call I recognised his name immediately and chose to play silly RS> buggers, saying things like 'christ knows what you are talking about' when RS> he rabbited on along the lines of 'are you fido point blah blah blah'. RS> Hung up in his ear. SH> Should have said your name was Anthony Grigor-Scott, SH> and that you would get your God to nuke him if he SH> ever accused you of being Rod Speed again. Didnt think of that, the best lines are much easier later |-) RS> He then immediately rang back, and I said 'I suppose its you again is RS> it ?' 'you want to be careful about the law on harassing phone calls'. SH> :-) RS> He had been pretty cautious right from the beginning, clearly RS> wasnt at all sure if I was the right person or not. He then said RS> 'I just want to tell you why I am calling', I said 'I KNOW why you RS> are calling' and told him to fuck off and hung up on him again |-) SH> At least you made him pay the three connection charges. True. Hopefully he has already pissed considerable quantitys of his money against the wall with his legals too. SH> If he does it again, tell him to hold on while you get Rod. Dunno, I apparently have a rather distinctive voice, no one is ever in any doubt if its me or not |-) SH> Have a cup of tea, wander down to the pub for a drink, SH> come back and say "he should be here any minute now..." I'll have to get one of those devices that mangles your voice |-) RS> Quite a while later, obviously after having had a long think |-) RS> he rang back yet again and immediately said 'this is RS> the last time I will call' etc, clearly had him worried. RS> By that time I had decided that it would be more amusing RS> to string him along for a bit to encourage him to piss RS> his money against the wall with the legal parasites on an RS> utterly futile exercise if he was that much of a complete prat. SH> You think he could afford that? I doubt it. That doesnt necessarily stop them tho. One loon we email to quite a bit is a parasite, appears to be on an invalid pension, with his wife who looks like she is on the dole, who was silly enough to mortgage the house to pay for the legal fees to attempt to sue some yanks who had booted him out of some club or other. Something of the order of $10K at least. He doesnt stand a chance of winning either, and he's been VERY quiet about it since, he certainly would have been crowing if he had won. We put the boot into him pretty comprehensively on his prospects. He's the one that claimed he could use the HREOC to bludgeon Fido into giving him the node number he demanded etc too. Been very quiet on that too, and its dead bloody obvious that he never got that number. RS> So I proceeded to put the boot in rather comprehensively, RS> pointing out to him that since being a poofter aint illegal RS> anymore, you dont actually suffer any defamation if someone RS> remarks on your being a poofter and that the High Court had RS> found in favor of free speech anyway, and that he had buckleys. RS> Called him 'boy' which he got stroppy about, so I used RS> it on the end of every single sentence after that |-) SH> Maybe he's black? Hopefully |-) RS> Pointed out that the tax man might well like RS> to hear about their 'staff member' who Andy claims RS> they pay in cash what little they do pay him. SH> ROFL. RS> Then I told him to go and fuck himself and hung up in his ear again. RS> Nothing heard since |-) SH> Jesus, even Banham never tried anything that sad with me. Yeah, fido can be interesting at times. We've even had a real convicted murderer in BBS_USER. @EOT: ---* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 711/934 712/610 @PATH: 711/934 |
