Hello
I know it's impossible to keep track of the preferences of each member
here but for the record, I keep windows around for one application and a
few games that won't run either native Linux or emulated and that has
become very few indeed thanks to Cedega. I have gone on more than one
occassion up to 7 months without booting once into Windows. This does not
prevent me from commenting on how stupidly Windows does things. In fact,
it likely fuels it because I see and experience that it just isn't
necessary even on other automatic background stytle,
"user-friendly" systems. Microsoft would do well to provide a
checkbox, something like PCTools used to do, that tells the system
something about the expertise and desires of the operator so it can
configure itself accordingly. I'd love a box that was captioned "Get
out of my way and don't you dare attempt anything behind my back or try to
"assist me" in any way. I'll do it myself" However that is
highly unlikely which is why I will def

initely *NOT* be buying Vista or whatever it's final name will be.
