Spake Harry,
I've the impression that Lexmark just pulled their support for OS/2,
without actually changing anything. (Not that I'd guarantee your
purchase.) If a printer is sold for the Apple and Linux market and comes
with PS, then the PS is likely generic, and OS/2 compatible. For years,
and maybe still, Lexmark PostScript was by emulation, as had been their
HP mode. That said, I had no problem with it, no matter what PS driver I
installed.
Characteristic of years of Lexmark printers: expensive to operate
because of thier pricing of consumables.

:( I don't think Staples over here do anything like as good. At present
I can get 50% cashback on a Lexmark E330, but I've yet to find anyone
who can tell me whether or not its viable under OS/2. It supports
postscript, but I've not yet located a PPD file for it, and its not
directly supported by the current laserjet or postscript drivers for
OS/2. Otherwise I'd probably be buying it right now....
paul.
