With the declaration that there is now a "diplomatic" resolution and
solution to this "problem", I hope we will NOT see American troops coming
home in body bags. However, it seems that the Reserve call up is still
going on.
However, the movie Wag the Dog still is in the back of my mind. I wouldn't
be surprised if the diplomatic solution that the UN Secretary General
brokered is not accpetable to this Administration.
With this guy, it's tough to guess at to what would be in his best
political interest. A war? Or a brokered peace in the face of the threat of
use of force? With this idiot, he'll claim a victory no matter what happens
and there'll be idiots througout this country that'll buy off on it.
