subject: WHICH MODEM

-> well i searched the PDF file again again using keywords Linux, Unix,
-> and operating each individually and the only relavent hit was, "
-> Linux does well under multitasking".
I've never used Linux or Unix, but I don't THINK they need anything
special in the way of modems. My ISP is running all kinds of modems,
same as you or I can buy, on his machiones, insluding Hayes and USR.
I've never seen a 'Unix' driver for a modem, only brain-dead programs
like Windows need special drivers for a modem.
