-> *~*?
Probably because you are trying to match the file names "MS-DOS
style" because the long file names [LFN] option of 4DOS hasn't been
turned on yet. Asterix is a place-holder under MS-DOS, rather than a
regular expression. 4DOS has to dumb itself down to MS-DOS's level so
that it yields the same "brain dead" file match that MS-DOS would give.
On a much more serious note, does anyone know what happened to the
Channel-1 PC-Board BBS of Boston, Mass., the JP-SOFT 4DOS distribution
BBS ? Where do I call to get the latest beta demo of the new 4DOS
commands ? If I can't get 4DOS anymore, then where would I go to get
the latest version of RONSET ? Thanks
P.S. Does anyone know why PERL 4.0 retrieves MS-DOS environment
--SYMBOL NAMES-- correctly, but returns a "null string" for the --SYMBOL
VALUES-- ? Are MS-DOS environment symbol table strings not null-byte
terminated ? Thanks
