subject: data overrun?

 BL> okay

I did it today (once you found the usual hang and fixed it) and 2400
with EC was stuffed. I aborted the data download... my mail itself
ought to have been enough for you. It was subtly different than the
last time, with more errors.

 8192 Data subpacket too long
14592 Data subpacket too long
21504 " "

 8912 Bad CRC
15616 Data subpacket too long
17664 " "
20736 " "

total 25343

And it was failing on the UPLOAD too, except that *my* end was
correcting. I get an "F" warning in telix, which means that I am
overdriving your end and then wait. I *always* get this uploading at
14400 and so does Brenton at 28800, but it's the first time I've seen
it at 2400. It's a bit hard to work out how I could overdrive your
data port at 2400 baud.

Regards,
Bob
