Hehehe
It never ceases to amaze me some of the stuff that's available on the market
that a person can throw together with stuff they already have on hand. I once
built what I called a "Longwire Longwave Filter." It was enclosed in a 35mm
film can, and what it did was filter all the MW garbage out of the longwave
band. It improved longwave reveption tremendously! When I showed it to a
friend, he went nuts telling me that I oughta market the thing. Then I told
him to open it up and he saw that all I did was make a toroidal choke out of
a large ferrite bead. He couldn't believe it.
