what version of the MKSMG sources are you running? i have MKSM106 here and
had made numerous fixes to ALL of the message base libraries... the fixes
ranged from ensuring that the time field was correct to subtle things like
skipping control lines during message startup and several others that i
haven't documented...
when mark may released his MKBBS source code, one of the FIRST things i did
was to compare the message base code libraries in MKSM106 with what was in
the MKBBS package. there were several differences... as such, i melded the
two libraries into what i have working fine here. that took a while as i
recall... mainly i ended up moving some of my fixes into the libraries from
the BBS source code...
i just ran your posted code here with the libraries i have and as far as i
can tell, everything is working properly. i only ran it once on one of my
_echomail_ bases that only gets posts from my system. you didn't state what
type of message base (echo, net, or local) that you were working with so i
could only make an assumtion on that point...
what i would do would be to get the MKBBS sources and pull the libraries out
that you know are part of the MKSM106 library and see what you get then...
it is possible to debug and step thru the libraries as that's how i traced
them and found places where some things just didn't seem right. it does take
some work on your part to do this, though...
