First off, we're not Christian Country, we're a country with a lot of
Christians living here, that's actually quite a huge difference.

Forcing everyone to have a gun, that's not against any scripture at all,
they're not forcing you to use it to kill, just own it.

I personally would (and do) follow your quoted scripture with no problem,
but there's plenty others that support other positions.
