I'm no scientist, but my guess is that it would not be good. We'd look like a
bunch of ***holes for sure (as if bombing them in the first place wouldn't
already). Saddam will make sure that innocent civilians die as human shields
anyway. I'm not entirely sure strategic bombing would be in anybody's best
interest. We may look stupid now, but we might just end up looking worse.
Saddam recovered nicely from the last time, and we were trying to stop
agression. Now, in my opinion, we're just trying to save face. He hasn't
invaded anybody (yet) and I don't think we have enough detailed intelligence
to get anything substantial done. Doesn't he have weapons in other places
stored away?
And another thing, what about Iran? What about Syria? What about Isreal? 
on't
all of these guys have NUKES (or at least long range missles capable of
carrying biological, chemical, or nuclear warheads)? Do we just march into
these countries and start demanding access and/or dismantling of sensitive
military stuff?
What's good for the goose is good for the gander, right?
And what if we DO bomb Iraq and they start sending off more scuds into
neighboring countries, this time setting off the "dominoes"? I don't have the
money to buy a ticket to Australia yet! Can't we wait awhile? I know it 
ounds
selfish, but I don't want to die that way. I'd really rather not go in a big
kaboom at 26 because of some sore loser with an itchy launcher-button finger.
Am I just paranoid?
I sure hope so.
