Hi I was wondering out there if anyone knew of any good places to repaint a 
bike frame. Here in my province of Quebec there is really only one place to 
get it done. The job is very ordinary - two coats of paint, baking then a 
clear coat. One of my bikes is imported from Italy - a Daccordi, It has at 
least five coat of paint. I believe the paint to be a powder coating which is 
paint that  last much longer and more difficult to scratch. This bicycle 
company has won the prize for the best paint in all of Europe three years in 
a row. They do not use this proceedure at the plant here. I could send the 
bike to Italy, but the cost of transport does not justify.
