It has taken you this long to figure that out?  Incidently, my last
drink was in 1969, been attending meetings of a certain 12th step group
ever since, and also have all sorts of professional credentials in my
field.
I also have food allergies so severe that they limit my movement if I am
stupid or someone feeds me something that isn't useful for me to eat.
Or a doctor who doesn't know any better recommends a topical cream which
has pepper as its main ingredient.
The intense pain, coupled with advancing age, does tend to result in a
marked loss of tolerance.   Especially to all "mental health workers"
who don't have four pages, doubled spaced, of state, local, and federal
laws to adhere to in the practice of their profession.
I no longer allow myself the use of any mind altering substances to dial
up a chosen mood.
