     I know of one small woman who apparently had too much anesthesia
     given during an operation.  She stayed asleep for several days
     after the operation.  It took several weeks for her to really
     get back to normal.  During those several weeks, she slept for
     many hours every day.  I guess it took that long for the 
     anesthesia to completely disappear from her system.
