Hi, Paul.
PE> PE> PE> I don't think the messages would ever be in
chronological order if
PE> you
PE> PE> just
PE> PE> PE> unzip them.
PE> PE> I've changed my mind. BFN. Paul.
PE> FM> And they're not. I unzip them *.* (so they'll be in the order I get
PE> them
PE> FM> from you), pktjoin them, pkt2qwk them and compress the packet. They're
PE> FM> not in chron order.
PE> They should be if you don't have a week wrap, or if you do have a week wrap
PE> and my program is correctly recognizing a week wrap.
Within a 0000ffe8.ddn will be a number of PKts. I don't know what the
criteria for creating PKTs is, but for example in the .TU0 I just
received there are 11, of which 6 contain AvTech messages. The first
message in the last one (PKT date 7/1 {at} 11:29pm) is dated 3/1, there are
messages in the others dated eg 6/1 (PKTs dated 7/1, various times
starting at 8:45am). Those PKts will be processed sequentially by
PKTJOIN (yours or mine, I use mine) and PKT2QWK and thus I will have a
3/1 message in my QWK after some 6/1 messages.
They *might* be in chron order as you receive them, I have no way of
knowing that.
Regards, fIM.
