Hi Nancy,

NB> March! NB>> And we had March weather in February.... go figure...

RH> We have had a few cooler (actually, normal) days but Tuesday had a
 RH> high of 82.

NB> Ours hasn't been quite that variable.... but it has been a bit up and
NB> down still... Now it looks like we'll have a somewhat steady climb
NB> into proper spring.... March does seem to be going out like a lamb,
 NB> after
 NB> coming in like a lion.... :)

We've been on a yo-yo but hopefully now all the major cold is behind us.
Pollen, especially pine, is out in full force.

RH> A lot of farmers have lost significant crops because we had a
RH> couple of nights below freezing this week. Strawberries,
RH> blueberries and peaches have been hit hard.

NB> I haven't heard much about that locally... perhaps our false spring
NB> didn't fool too many of the trees.....

And too, your growing season is behind ours by a few weeks; that makes a
big difference.

NB> highs in the 30s, I NB>> think, and lows tonight in the teens.... and
NB> then climbing back for NB>> the weekend....

RH> If you don't like the weather...........................

 NB> Something like that..... ;)

NB> NB>> any time, and it's not all that available... But she was
NB> NB>> thinking in terms of my not being up to anything chewier... (G)
NB> NB>> We had the congee, and then also shared some other fare at the
 NB> NB>> White Swans Asian Caffe.... :)

RH> Good thing that your dental work went well--you were able to enjoy the
RH> congee and extras. As I recall, it took me some days before I felt
RH> like eating much, even soft things. Harder foods took even longer.

NB> But then your teeth were pulled... my one tooth only got a root
 NB> canal...... ;)

They were actually cut out as they were all below the gum line. There
was no way they were going to come thru as they were all in sideways.
Basic soup (and things like that) were the easiest to eat for a while.

 NB> RH>> instead. It was good. (G)
NB> NB>> Yup, sometimes one goes with the favorite, sometimes one tries
NB> NB>> something new on the menu... or a less-often picked choice....
NB> NB>> One can get quite the long list of favorites that way, though...
 NB> NB>> especially at favorite places... ;)

RH> The hard part of that is deciding which favorite to have. (G)

 NB> Exactly... :)

And one of each is detrimental not only to the wallet, but also the
waistline.
