What caught my attention was the message I saw here told me it was a
misprint, then I saw where President threatens veto action.
I've heard nothing from our own leadership, though for the last couple
of days.
Had already written my senators via email on this issue, but decided
to wait to send anything snail-mail to my representative until I heard
something else from Jim. When he posts an alert to get the word out
it usually winds up here, so I'm sure to see it.
Problem is, I haven't heard anything from our leadership since first
day this caught us. This tells me maybe our email, calls and faxes
might already be starting to do their jobs, and we've got people at
the table talking. Not saying it is or isn't valuable info, just will
wait until I here the word from Jim before I keep my cards letters and
other good stuff coming on this issue.
I will say one thing, at least organizationally it's identified, which
keeps down confusion. I've been forwarding on the things I get here
to other folks who are clients of the rehab system, and interested in
its continued good health. Her husband dropped the original notice
into the bit bucket after reading it, thinking she'd already read it,
but theyu've seen subsequent.
Only point I waw making, Andy. We'll have to keep our eyes on this
one, as it seems anything could happen at this stage. I'm somewhat
incredulous that it was actually a misprint, as I read, I think
yesterday morning.
ON a lightert note, Andy, did you try for anything with the vhf/uhf
contest last weekend? Band opened up tjust great here, (after it was
over, of course.)
