  You misunderstand the entire thrust of rodirep.exe. The idea is that
you run it together with your own mail. It sends automatic insulting
replies to Roddi, under *your* name, and deletes all Roddi messages
from the main packet you then answer in your noramlly insulting way.
This is totally legal and fills a useful function. Most of us would
choose to insult Roddi, except that reading Rodi-mail is such a bloody
drag... rodirep.exe does it it for us! 

  My dream is a FidoNet where everyone runs rodirep.exe and all
rodi-mail is automatically-generated. In this perfect vision of a
perfect World, the only one to see rodi-mail would be Roddi, but he
would continue as usual, insulting a thousand copies of ridrep.exe
installed all over the world in a hundred echoes.

  And if Fido traffic became excessive, we could post Roddi our
rodirep.exe configuration file, and he could continue insulting
everyone all over the world, getting replies all by himself, in
Griffith with no need for a phone line.

  I don't think you fully appreciate the beauty of the rodirep.exe
system...
